Show the boys at Trick some love. What is Trick you ask? Trick is the bar that opened where JR's on Commercial was. The place is now owned by Vivian Powers and Madame Phoenix ... in their every day personas.
They've done a fair amount of work on the place, but that cool Art Deco bar is still in place. It's a great place to go for a drink and hang out, you should definitely go check it out.
Also, Sunday, March 1 is the GLO Center's Annual Meeting. All are invited, but it is a potluck supper, so bring a side dish. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Center. GLO is located at 518 Commercial St, just down the sidewalk from Trick.
As for NEXT weekend, kick it off on Thursday with Ladies' Night at Martha's. The one and only Doc Holiday is hosting a fundraiser for his trip to the big national drag pageant in Oklahoma later next month. Madame Phoenix, Breanna Grant, Devion Mornet, Roman Holiday and Dunkin Dame will be among the performers. Show starts at 11 p.m.
Martha's will also have a fantastic new performance number at the end of Friday night's show. It'll be dragtastic!
